Math Lens’s first Chrome Web Store release is being prepared. The installation link will appear here when it is available.

Open your reference

After installing Math Lens, open a lesson on DeltaMath or Khan Academy. Click Chrome’s extensions button, then Math Lens, to open the side panel. Pin the toolbar icon if you want quicker access. The extension requires desktop Chrome 116 or later.

Automatic lesson recommendations

DeltaMath and Khan Academy math reading are enabled by default. Open a DeltaMath lesson or an English math exercise, article, or video on Khan Academy. Math Lens will recommend relevant references on your device. No separate enable button is needed. Chrome’s extension settings control site access.

Look up highlighted text

On any web page, highlight a math term or common expression, right-click, and choose Look up with Math Lens. The selection opens a Vocabulary or Formulas search without changing the current lesson topic or graph. On other sites, only your selection is used. Text inside editable fields is ignored. Clear the search with × or switch tabs.

The lesson wasn’t recognized

Wait for the lesson to finish loading, then press Refresh in Math Lens. Make sure you have opened an actual lesson. You can always choose a graph manually and search the formula and vocabulary libraries.

Lesson detection depends on the learning site’s page structure. New, custom, or changed lesson titles may not be recognized. The built-in library remains available.

Explore without a lesson

Open the Math Lens panel, choose a graph manually, or search the formula and vocabulary libraries. These tools remain available without an open supported lesson.

Use the graph and references

Search for a graph or shape in Graphs & Shapes. In Shapes / Polygons, click to place points and drag them to move them. Use the + and − buttons to zoom, and Reset to start again. Switch to Formulas or Vocabulary to search and open reference notes.

Installing on a school Chromebook

Your administrator may block unapproved extensions or manage installation centrally. Ask your school’s IT team to review Math Lens and allow or install its Chrome Web Store listing once published. A local server, API key, and Math Lens account are not required.

Math Lens does not bypass school monitoring or device policies. Your teacher decides when reference tools are appropriate, including during assignments and assessments.

Report a problem or ask about privacy

Once the listing is live, use the developer contact email shown on the Math Lens Chrome Web Store listing. Include the extension version, your Chrome version, the general lesson title, and what happened. Do not send passwords, student names, grades, private assignment links, or screenshots containing personal information.

You can review the privacy policy at any time.
